On October 23, 2012, I had the pleasure of attending an event at Trinity Lutheran Church where Bishop E.W. Jackson spoke to a packed house on the Christian duty to be engaged in the political process. Bishop Jackson is a pastor who runs the organization STAND (Staying True to America’s Destiny) and has recently made national news with his “Exodus Now!” campaign, calling on to Christians to leave the Democrat party. Watch him make a compelling case on video here.
Bishop Jackson is a powerful speaker and on October 23rd issued a general call for all Christians to stand up for freedom in America. Fortunately, I was able to video the entire speech, which I’ve broken into three parts below for your enjoyment/inspiration. Every Christian should hear and heed this critical message.

Oh, Jon. What a precious man of God, what a great American! I am so proud to have heard this man. He gives me hope for this country! As a veteran, I am so proud to have served at the same time as this wonderful man. Thank you for sharing.
Jon, thank you for posting with wonderful speech! I discovered it on Facebook, posted by one of my favorite authors, Terri Blackstock. So glad she had the courage to post it there. I also posted it, telling folks they could just hide/delete it if they didn’t like it. Hope somebody watches it and shares it with others. He makes so many great points. Oh, that more people understood all he does and would vote based on that understanding, from that moral foundation. Thank you for all you do to keep the candle burning.
Jon, Thank you so very much for posting Bishop Jackson’s speech from a few days ago. The clear truths he presented have been for so long missing from the public arena and, as a result, forgotten. I have not been so moved since the Reagan era. What a godly man. I pray these words will race across the internet and make it to both CNN and Fox News.
Praise God for Bishop Jackson. I hope this goes viral as we ALL need to hear this what this Godly man has to say. My mother, sister and I came from Germany after the war and we know what it is like to live w/out freedom. I too, am an “American” first.

Recently I interviewed with Ken McClenton of “The Exceptional Conservative” radio show, discussing faith, politics, and the Tea Party. We had a great talk. You can listen to the entire interview here.
