“Pastors in particular and Christians in general were so influential in our move for independence.”
~ John Adams
On Wednesday, September 19th I witnessed history being made. I had the honor of attending the commissioning service of Virginia’s Black Robe Regiment at Patrick Henry College. A number of compelling speakers shared their hearts about the need for Christians, especially pastors, to stand up to the tyranny that’s taking hold in America before it’s too late to pull back. I’ve written about this topic myself, so I was excited to be at the event. (Here’s a recent article I co-authored with Pastor Travis Witt.)
The keynote speaker was Lt. Gen. William G. “Jerry” Boykin. He delivered a riveting speech, which I was able to record. It’s broken into two parts below. (I apologize that the quality didn’t turn out all that well. The jitteriness disappears after a few seconds.)
Please share these with every Christian you know, particularly pastors. It’s time for us to stand together for freedom under the Heavenly King and prevent America from falling into slavery under the earthly king of a tyrannical big government.
Recently I interviewed with Ken McClenton of “The Exceptional Conservative” radio show, discussing faith, politics, and the Tea Party. We had a great talk. You can listen to the entire interview here.
AMEN! May the Body of Christ wake up and rise up to do the work of service for and to the King of Kings it was recreated and equipped to do.
Great article Jon! Sorry it took me so long to respond. I love and appreciate all that you are doing!
