Tea Party and Occupy Movements

Christianity Today recently produced a short documentary – shot in my hometown of Richmond, VA — showing people of faith who are involved in diametrically different movements. Emmett Bailey — Richmond Tea Party volunteer, one of my good friends, and an all-around great guy – was featured, along with Pam Hogeweide from Portand, OR who is active in the Occupy movement. While the documentary doesn’t go into depth, it does show a stark contrast between the ideals of both movements.

While I certainly have a lot to say about the Tea Party / Occupy movements and will likely offer commentary in the future, for now I’ll let Emmett take this one:
